Today we found our way to a one of a kind Café. It’s located next to the Quai de Loire and is the perfect place for inspiration. You’d like to have your coffee sitting in a bathtub? It can be done here! We met with Marion the Director of Pavillon Des Canaux and had an interesting round of Rapid fire with her! Let’s begin: -

How did you come up with this unique concept?
We wanted to open a place, which felt like home, not the work place or home but a third place combining both of the elements and creating a Third hence Pavillon Des Canaux was born.

What’s a fashion must have trending in your Coffee Restaurant at the moment?
The Christmas Beanie, which has the patent Red And White colour scheme

What’s the one thing that’s a must have at your Coffee Shop?
Our Barista Latte’s that Lucas makes, they have really nice designs

Raclette or Fondue?
La raclette! Actually we serve it here

One famous person living or dead you’d like to have dinner with?

One French dish you cook the best?
Les crêpes

What’s your favourite French tradition during Christmas?
Toasting with Champagne, unwrapping the gifts during l’apéro (but it’s a French family tradition)

What’s the coolest thing about Parisians Men?
Their style, their humour and also the way they decorate their tiny apartments

What’s the strangest animal you’ve eaten? 

A pig’s nose in the Feijoada

None, I love all the colours

A must visit Wine cellar in Paris?
There are so many! I love the le siffleur in particular

If you could have one Famous French person’s wardrobe, who’s would it be?
Tough question but I would say Julie Depardieu for her close to extravagant style

Your favourite restaurant in Paris?
There are so many one is the Les pères populaires for everyday and amici mei for a good pizza after the cinema
